This “women-in-prison” exploitation flick features Kaji Meiko, who would later star as the titular protagonist in Lady Snowblood, a woman set up by her lover and unjustly imprisoned. Trapped in the ultra-misogynistic prison complex, she teams up with other female convicts to enact an outrageous plan of revenge that would go on to inspire the story of The Bride in Kill Bill.
