In our second collaboration to celebrate the life and work of David Lynch, Uncanny Art House visits OFX to host David Lynch: The Art Life (2016) as part of their 4th Friday Films series presented by the Pioneer Library System and the final event of their “In Dreams” exhibition.
This intimate documentary offers a rare glimpse into David Lynch’s early years as a painter and storyteller, tracing the creative roots that shaped his singular cinematic vision. Through quiet moments in his studio and candid reflections on his artistic philosophy, The Art Life reveals the interplay between visual art, memory, and the subconscious.
Following the screening, the OFX and UAH teams will lead a group discussion on artistic process, self-definition, and the delicate balance between discipline and experimentation that fuels creative life. Discussion panelists to be announced. Tickets are first-come, first-serve pay-what-you-can admission.
