This month, Raygun shows us In A Glass Cage, one of the inspirations for the Chat Pile song “grimace_smoking_weed.jpeg”. Much like the what the protagonist of “grimace” experiences, this controversial Spanish film is a nightmare, not for the faint of heart. Inspired by a figure from medieval French history, this film explores a Nazi doctor at the end of his life, confined to an iron lung, as his new caretaker reveals himself to be a victim of the doctor’s crimes and abuse. Sometimes it’s worth it to watch the hard stuff, and Raygun is the best man to guide us through it.
