Sean Peel

Sean Peel (he/him) is the mind behind local film collective VHSANDCHILL OKC and has been hosting monthly movie screenings and retro tape swaps in Oklahoma City since 2016. Sean organized and hosted the Jeff Goldblum Film Festival, which raised money for the Rock & Roll Camp for Girls OKC. He was featured in the LA TIMES for building the second ever FREE BLOCKBUSTER, a movement which has now gone nationwide, that allows people to leave a movie and take a movie.

Previously, he was General Manager, Executive Director, Film Programmer, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Projectionist for a local theater. He has been quoted in Variety Magazine discussing ways to bring people back to theaters.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, he lives in Oklahoma City with his spouse and two puppies, Poppy and Jack.
